With a philosophy based on respect for the land and its people, for nature and for the vineyard, Casa Landeiro Wines aspires to produce high-quality wines, capable of expressing the potential of the Tapada do Fental terroir, while at the same time revealing the traits of a fresh and innovative approach to the characteristics of the region.
[ Learn more ]There are those who make wines that bring to mind wild berries, chocolate and wild flowers, leather, oil, pepper and exotic fruit. At Casa Landeiro, we want to make wines that remind us of the people who make them, that remind us of the land they come from, that remind us of special occasions, reunions with distant relatives, gatherings with friends around the table, “those we love”. Wines that taste of grapes and that tell the story of the land and the best of wine, with simplicity and without artifice. Casa Landeiro wants the Tempo da Terra, the House’s motto, to have more than one meaning through wines. Because time passes through everything, passes through everyone, but lingers in wine. And here, at the top of Alto Alentejo, it stops for a moment - the moment of Nisa, who arrives with the House’s first wine, launched at the end of 2025.
In the future, other wines will be added, constituting a necessarily broader range, far beyond Para Nisa Red 2024, the House's “Zero Harvest” project. Over the course of this year and the coming years, different white grape varieties will be planted and the presence of certain red grape varieties will be reinforced. Soon, Casa Landeiro will produce wines from various segments, both red and white.
